Icons for Portal 2 Rainmeter Themeby ~seussman71

After downloading and installing wistfulwriter's ([link]) Portal 2 Rainmeter theme ([link]), I got it fairly fine-tuned to how I liked it, but I noticed there were only a few icons for the dock in the test chamber sign.

So, I found the folder with the icon images (Skins\Aperture Labs Information Signs\Test Chamber Sign\images), took one of the original icons, cleared it out and started making my own.

For a majority of these, I used the icons from Icons8 from Visual Pharm ([link]), a giant set of the Metro-style Windows 8 icons, which fit just perfectly with this theme since they are all monochromatic solid icons. I enlarged the original icons a bit to fill the boxes a bit better.

There are 38 in all ranging from generic icons to specific programs, folders, etc. I hope you enjoy wistfulwriter's theme as much as I do, and I hope this set adds to the theme.

How do you change the file paths to get the icons to do what they want? I need help with that. The only one that works is the downloads one and the recycle bin... Thanks

Sorry for the delay. There are two files you'll need to change, and both can be found here:

C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\Aperture Labs Information Signs\Resources

They are:
shortcuts.inc - this tells Rainmeter what to launch with each button
dockdecorations.inc - this tells Rainmeter what icons to use for the buttons

In dockdecorations.inc, each button has a setup like this:

[MeterBUTTON1]
Meter=BUTTON
X=0r
Y=10r
ButtonImage=images\portal.png
ButtonCommand=!Execute ["#B1#"]

The ONLY thing you need to change is the image URL...you can keep the images\ prefix, and just put the icon name that you want to use for that particular button. Rinse and repeat for each button.

These are awesome! I've added them to the images folder but I can't figure out how to change the icons in the skin. Any suggestions?

AHA! Never mind, figured it out

For anyone else having trouble, locate the dockdecorations.inc file and change the file path where it says "ButtonImage" to images\(name of image you want here).png
